To our Water of Life Preschool Families,
We want to reach out to you and communicate what we know for today. As we navigate these unprecedented times, we know Who we can trust in and lean on... Proverbs 3:5 & 6 tells us ...
“Trust in the Lord with All your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.”
As the letter from WOLCS Governing School Board stated on Friday, WOLCS Elementary and Preschools will be closed Mon. March 16 – Fri. March 20, 2020. We want to take precautionary measures in keeping our students and staff safe and healthy during this time. The decision was made in the best interest of WOLCS and Preschools due to the Coronavirus pandemic. It was also communicated that updates would be available as needed.
Today, WOLCS Governing Board and School Administration met to evaluate the latest updates from the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and the San Bernardino County Health Department. It has been confirmed that there is a confirmed case of the Coronavirus in our county. The WOLCS Governing Board deliberated and placed a lot of thought and prayer into arriving at the following decisions:
At this time, Water of Life Preschool will remain closed until the end of the month.
This week, March 16th - 20th is a transition week to allow the Governing Board and staff to create plans to support preschool families and students while at home.
We understand that some of you may have questions regarding tuition payments. As a reminder, WOLCS is a tuition driven preschool, we want to care for WOLPS families and our staff that have poured into your children this school year.
WOLCS Governing Board and School Administration will continue to meet weekly, or as often as needed to reassess the latest developments and provide adjustments where needed. We will continue to provide regular updates via email.
Please remain in prayer with us, as many of our staff and families will be impacted by these developments. Please be assured that we are praying for you and your family as you also have to grapple with making appropriate adjustments for your child. The Governing Board, School Administration, Staff and Teachers are committed to walking this journey with you.
As we all know, this is an unfolding nationwide crisis that is beyond any of our control. Your understanding, continued prayers and support for WOL church, our Governing Board, our staff, students and families is greatly appreciated.
