Dress Code Summary
In order to promote a positive and appropriate school appearance, WOLCS has chosen the following school attire for our students. We require students to follow these policies along with parental/family support. Please consult your handbook for complete information.
School Attire for Girls
● Navy, Gold, or Gray WOLCS Logo Polo Shirts
● Navy or Khaki Jumpers, Skirts, Skorts, Pants, Capris, or Shorts
General Guidelines:
● Shorts – fingertip length or longer
● Skirts and jumpers may be no shorter than 3” above the knee when kneeling
● Shorts or leggings must be worn under skirts and jumpers.
● Shoes: Tennis shoes or other athletic-type shoes suitable for play worn with socks.
● Outerwear Jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts must be school-approved solid colors such as navy, gray, white, and beige. WOLCS’ sweat jackets/pullovers are permitted or jackets in school colors only. Zip-up or pullover hoodies that bear sports teams, name/sports brands, or designs are not permitted.
School Attire for Boys
● Navy, Gold, or Gray WOLCS Logo Polo Shirts
● Navy or Khaki Pants and Shorts

● Long pants including cargo pants
● Shorts - mid-thigh length or longer
● Shoes: Tennis shoes or other athletic-type shoes suitable for play worn with socks
● Outerwear: Jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts must be school-approved solid colors such as navy blue, gray, white, and beige. WOLCS’ sweat jackets/pullovers are permitted or jackets in school colors only. Zip-up or pullover hoodies that bear sports teams, name/sports brands, or designs are not permitted.
Elementary P.E. Dress
The regular dress for P.E. is the WOLCS polo shirt with shorts at fingertip length or longer or uniform slacks. Kindergarten girls may wear skorts at fingertip length or longer. Students must wear tennis shoes on P.E. days.
Middle School P.E. Dress
The regular dress for P.E. is the WOLCS issued P.E. t-shirt with shorts. Students must also wear tennis shoes during P.E. Students will be required to dress out in their P.E. uniforms on free dress days.
Field Trip Dress
All students must wear WOLCS gold polo shirts on field trips.
Guidelines For Regular School Days:
1. There should be no extreme or unnatural hair color or hair styles.
2. Pants, shorts, skirts, or skorts are to be worn at the waist level (above the hip bone). No baggy or tight-fitting clothing is allowed.
3. Underclothes must be covered at all times.
4. Tops must cover the midriff at all times.
5. Hats and/or sunglasses are not to be worn indoors.
6. Earrings
For boys - no earrings are acceptable.
For girls - small stud-type earrings that lay flat against the ear are acceptable.
7. Nail polish
For girls only - clear or pastel nail polish only.
8. No make-up.
9. Girls must wear play shorts underneath their skirts or jumpers while on any play equipment.
Guidelines For Free Dress Days:
Students are allowed to wear free dress as indicated on specified dates on the school calendar. In addition to the above guidelines the following apply to free dress:
1. Jeans are permitted but they must not be ripped, torn, or have holes.
2. T-shirts are to be free of inappropriate wording, images, logos, or non-Christian bands.
3. No open-toed shoes, slippers, or flip flops are allowed for reasons of playground safety.
4. Leggings must be worn only with tops that are fingertip to knee length.
Guidelines For Elementary P.E. On Free Dress Days:
Keeping in mind that PE requires movement, the following are required if a student has PE on a free dress day:
1. Shorts (no spandex) that meet the length requirement under skirts or dresses are required.
2. Dresses finger-tip to knee length only.
3. Closed-toed tennis shoes
Guidelines For Middle School P.E. On Free Dress Days:
Middle School students will be required to dress out in their P.E. uniforms on free dress days.
Uniforms
Uniform sales are transitioning to online!
We are excited about the ease and efficiency this will create for our families. However, a limited amount of uniform inventory is still conveniently available through the office. We would love your help in eliminating our current on-site stock by checking to see if we have what you currently need here at the school. If not, please order directly from our new online store.
